Official Galaxy S22 One UI 6 (Android 14) update is now available in the United States.
Samsung has established a pattern of releasing the stable version of Android 14 and One UI 6 on Mondays. The Galaxy S23 series received the official update on October 30, which happened to be a Monday. Following this trend, three weeks later, Samsung once again chose the first day of the week to launch the stable One UI 6 update for the Galaxy S22 lineup.
In technical terms, last week saw the release of the Galaxy S22's stable One UI 6 update, but it was only accessible to those who were already running the One UI 6 beta version. The public rollout for devices running Android 13 began yesterday in certain European markets, and it will gradually expand to numerous other countries in the coming days and weeks.
AT&T has become the first US carrier to offer the Galaxy S22's Android 14 update. This week, the official One UI 6 update arrived on AT&T's Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra variants. The update is expected to be released by other carriers for their customers soon. Unlocked units are also anticipated to receive the update before the week concludes.
To download the Android 14 and One UI 6 update on your Galaxy S22, S22+, or S22 Ultra, simply open the Settings app, select "Software update" located near the bottom of the settings screen, and press "Download and install." Please note that the update may not be immediately available on your first attempt, as major updates are rolled out in phases. Therefore, it is advisable to check for updates at a later time.
